Co. Tipperary students are being reminded that the online third-level grants application facility run through the SUSI processing system has extended its application deadline until midnight on Monday.
The decision was made after the site crashed on Thursday, just ahead of the initial deadline of midnight.
The site was down for two hours as a result.
It is a problem the application processing centre could do without following a poor and controversial performance in processing applications last year.
SUSI said that no information was lost when the site went down.
The application deadline has now been extended until midnight on Monday.
