Gardai have confirmed that the man and child who were killed in a collision in Pallasgreen this morning had left a house in Oola where an incident occurred during which a female received a number of injuries.
The collision between a truck and a car occurred at approximately 8.30am, 1 mile from Brooks Bridge, on the Tipperary side of Pallasgreen. A man and a young boy were killed in the collision. The driver of the truck was uninjured.

The population of Co Tipperary grew by 1,687 or 1.1% between 2011 and April of this year, according to the first figures to emerge from Census 2016.
Figures released from the CSO show that nationally the population was 4,757,976 on census night, April 24th.
That represented an increase of 169,724 or 3.7% on the 2011 census.
The population in Co Tipperary was recorded as 160,441.
The number of vacant dwellings in the county stands at 8,919 – a vacancy rate of 12.7% which is more or less in line with the national rate of 12.8%.
