Monard to Cullen road closed Thurs 18th

The L4103 Monard to Cullen Road will be closed to traffic on Thurs 18th July from 8am to 3pm.

Local access will be accomodated and diversions will be in place

Hosepipe Ban in South Tipperary

South Tipperary County Council as the water services Authority for South Tipperary wishes to advise its customers that they are required to issuing of an "Emergency Notice" under the Water Services Act 2007  to implement a Hosepipe Ban for all Water Services Authority Schemes in South Tipperary with immediate effect.  The initial period of the hosepipe ban is for a period of four weeks (untill 13th August 2013)

Garda Reserves graduate in Templemore

One hundred garda reserves have graduated at the training college in Templemore  (twenty eight women and seventy two men)

Justice Minister, Alan Shatter, has also announced that he intends for recruitment to start at the college as soon as possible.
