Sinn Fein MEP Liadh Ní Riada has said that she wants to have a meeting with Minister Kelly to discuss the future of the Leader programme.
Co Tipperary TD and Minister for the Environment Alan kelly has reversed a decision to stop funding health and disability organisations.
It emerged recently that funding to a range of organisations such as Asthma Society of Ireland and the Neurological Alliance of Ireland, had been discontinued.
However upon his appointment as Environment Minister, Mr Kelly has restored funding to 30 successful applicants to the value of €1.3 million in total.
