A project on dementia which was piloted in Co Tipperary has secured enough funding to bring it into the mainstream provision of services.  Known as Five Steps to Living Well with Dementia, the project aimed to develop models of flexible person-centred care to people with dementia, enabling them to continue to live at home, and to remain as active citizens within their communities.  It was jointly funded for the last three years by Atlantic Philanthropies and the HSE through the Genio Trust.
